About Me

AG Pottery began just a few short months after I fell in love with ceramics as a class member at a small studio in Houston, TX. As plans changed and life quickly moved along, my adoration for the ceramics process deepened and I started to find what spoke to me in art. I joined a studio in Cincinnati, OH and am slowly building my own home studio. You’ll notice that much of my art is connected to nature in some way or another, often shown through delicately painted flowers, and it is through wildflowers that I find a great deal of inspiration.

I would have never imagined that randomly deciding to take a pottery class would so drastically change my life. It never crossed my mind that someday I would run a small business to share my art, yet even still, this craft is a passion rather than a career for me. When I first began, I was surrounded by many ceramicists who shared in that passion, and it was quite apparent that this way of connecting with the physical earth, building and fostering a community, and expressing individuality was of great significance in each of their lives.

As a small business owner – and particularly an artist – receiving support from each of you is an integral part of this journey. From the bottom of my heart, thank you for allowing me to express myself and for sharing in this art form with me.
